Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • A contribuição é original e inédita, e não está sendo avaliada para publicação por outra revista; caso contrário, deve-se justificar em "Comentários ao editor".
  • Ao submeter um artigo, os autores concordam com as políticas éticas e comprometem-se a conduzir pesquisas em conformidade com os mais elevados padrões éticos e legais.
  • Ao submeter um artigo, os autores declaram que todos os participantes humanos forneceram consentimento informado para participar da pesquisa.
  • O(s) autor (es) se responsabiliza(m) pelo conteúdo do artigo submetido à revista e autoriza(m) sua publicação.
  • O artigo deve ser apresentado sob forma correta em termos gramaticais. Os avaliadores não farão correções, entendendo que um artigo com problemas desta natureza não pode ser aprovado para publicação. Artigos submetidos fora dos padrões gramaticais corretos serão rejeitados automaticamente. É de responsabilidade dos autores garantir que a submissão esteja nos padrões da norma culta.
  • O texto está em espaço simples; usa uma fonte de 12-pontos; emprega itálico em vez de sublinhado (exceto em endereços URL); as figuras e tabelas estão inseridas no texto, não no final do documento na forma de anexos.
  • Os quadros, tabelas, gráficos, e ilustrações devem apresentar as respectivas legendas, citando a fonte completa;
  • Onde disponível, os URLs para as referências foram fornecidos.
  • O arquivo da submissão está em formato Microsoft Word, OpenOffice ou RTF.
  • O texto segue os padrões de estilo e requisitos bibliográficos descritos em Diretrizes para Autores, na página Sobre a Revista.

Author Guidelines

The  Revista Tecnológica da FATEC only accepts original articles, not published in other journals. We accept articles presented at events, as long as this information is made available by the authors.

The standards for formatting and preparing originals are:

- No maximum 20 pages:

- Languages ​​of the body of the article that are allowed: Portuguese, English or Spanish;

- Authorship: maximum of 8 authors per article:

- Arial font size 12, line spacing 1.5;

- The Figures and Tables must correspond to the text, editable, in font 10, both for the content and the title (which must come just above the graphic elements) and font (which must come just below the graphic element).

- Title in Portuguese, English and Spanish, at the beginning of the file, with font 14;

- Resumo/Abstract/Resumen, must be written in 3 languages, regardless of the original language of the article. Containing 150 to 200 words. And it must be accompanied by 3 to 5 palavras-chave/keywords/palabras clave, single-spaced, just below the title;

- References must follow the standards of the Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT).

- The submitted file must not contain the identification of the authors.

Publication fee:

- This journal does not charge a submission fee;

- The journal's current policy exempts publication fees.

Privacy Statement

  • The content published in the articles is the sole responsibility of their respective authors and does not necessarily reflect the journal’s opinion.
  • The total or partial reproduction of published works is permitted, provided that the original source is properly cited.
  • The journal adheres to strict policies regarding academic integrity and scientific ethics. Manuscripts showing evidence or proof of plagiarism will be immediately rejected, and the authors involved may lose the right to submit future manuscripts to the journal.
  • Personal data provided by authors, reviewers, and readers will be used exclusively for the editorial services of this publication and will not be made available to third parties or used for any other purposes.
  • Upon submitting their manuscripts, authors retain the copyright to their works, granting the Revista Tecnológica da FATEC the right of first publication.
  • The journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows for the sharing and adaptation of published content, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the original publication.
